Day 01: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. If you wish to exchange currency, we recommend doing so at the airport for convenience. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey.

Day 02: Road transfer to Shompole Wilderness – Approx. 3 hrs
Breakfast at your hotel and check-out. Thereafter, transferred by road to Shompole Wilderness Camp to arrive for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game activities to include game drives and use of the hides. Shompole Wilderness Camp is a remote and peaceful safari destination located in the Great Rift Valley, offering a very private and exclusive experience. It is known for its beautiful landscapes, open plains, and views stretching towards Lake Natron and the surrounding escarpments. The camp is especially popular with photographers due to its well-positioned wildlife hides. These hides allow for close and eye-level photography of animals as they come to drink at the waterhole, offering unique and rewarding moments that are different from normal game drives.

Day 03 & 04: Two (2) full days in Shompole Wilderness
Two (2) full days with activities as per the camps schedule to include shared use of the photo hide but with exclusive use of the vehicle for other game activities / drives so that you are in a position to control your own schedule. Please note with regard to hide use at Shompole, you will have access to the hide as long as you are staying at the camp. However, exclusive use of the hide is not guaranteed unless there are at least 4 full-paying guests in your group. Otherwise, the hide is shared.

Day 05: Transfer back to Nairobi and Fly to Laikipia Wilderness Camp
Breakfast at your camp and check-out. Thereafter, transfer back to Nairobi. You will be dropped off at a local restaurant for lunch and thereafter at Wilson Airport to board your Laikipia Wilderness Camp bound flight departing at 1330 hrs and arriving at 1430 hrs at the Loisaba Airstrip. This will be followed up by 1HR transfer by the camp vehicle to Laikipia Wilderness Camp for check-in and lunch. Afternoon game drive / activities as per the camp’s schedule with exclusive use of the Black Leopard Private Vehicle which is important as it offers priority sightings of the black leopard. In addition to the black leopard, the area is rich in other wildlife including lions, elephants, giraffes, and a variety of plains game, making it a well-rounded safari destination.

Day 06 & 07: Full days in Laikipia Wilderness Camp
Two (2) full days in Laikipia Wilderness Camp with game drives / activities as per the camps schedule and exclusive use of the Black Leopard Private Vehicle. Laikipia Wilderness Camp is a small and intimate safari camp located in the Laikipia region, known for its strong conservation efforts and excellent wildlife sightings. Day 08: Fly to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Morning game activity, breakfast, and check-out. On arrival, pick up and transfer to your camp for lunch and check-in. This will be followed by an afternoon game drive from 1500 hrs.

Day 09 / 10 & 11: Three (3) full days in Maasai Mara National Reserve
This is the northern extension of the Serengeti ecosystem virtually throbs with life. “The Mara” savannas are famous for their concentration of grazing and browsing animals and their predators – Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Spotted Hyena. Morning and afternoon game drives take you to different areas, depending on where your guides feel you have the best chances of seeing exceptional wildlife. They may suggest you rise early and return for a late breakfast, or you may depart with a picnic lunch and spend the day away from camp. The order of your days may vary, but one thing is guaranteed – you will see lots of mammals, birds, and other wildlife.

Day 12: Fly back to Nairobi and outbound departure
