Beyond The Horizon itinerary takes us to the southwestern part of the country, home to the African giant, the elephant, the world’s largest land animal. We begin in Amboseli National Park, renowned for its large herds of elephants and diverse wildlife set against the backdrop of the snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro. We then proceed to the Tsavo parks, famous for their distinctive red elephants, before winding up the trip in Watamu for a relaxing beach stay.

DAY 01: Arrival in Nairobi

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. If you wish to exchange currency, we recommend doing so at the airport for convenience. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey.
Overnight: Crowne Plaza Nairobi Airport Hotel

DAY 02: Nairobi / Amboseli National Park

In the morning you gather for a short pre-safari briefing before departing on a 4 hour drive to Amboseli National Park driving through the scenic southern part of Kenya to arrive at your camp for lunch. We invite you for a game drive afterwards in this beautiful park, famous for its large elephant herds. Arid looking as Amboseli is, it has, historically, supported both game and the Maasai that kept their herds of cattle here. It is thanks to the waters that run off Africa’s greatest mountain that the apparently dry Amboseli, Kenya’s first game sanctuary is able to support its wildlife. Mount Kilimanjaro broods high over Amboseli, generally cloaked by clouds but appearing in all its snow-shrouded magnificence from time to time. The mountain now provides water for the park, wonderful views and, of course, the most glorious background for animal photography.

DAY 03: Amboseli National Park

Another exciting day in Amboseli National Park. We recommend that you get up early morning where one can experience excellent game viewing & an unprecedented view of the snow capped Mount Kilimanjaro. Return to your camp for breakfast. You may opt for an additional game drive after breakfast to visit the swamp with its magnificent wildlife present all day long or simply relax at camp and take in the African wilderness. In the afternoon, we invite you for a guided walk in this conservancy to experience the wilderness in a different light!!

DAY 04: Amboseli National Park / Tsavo West National Park

Early morning game drive and breakfast. Thereafter depart for Tsavo West National Park which is rather a short drive of 2.5 hrs. This park is known for known for its dramatic landscapes of volcanic hills, lava flows, and natural springs. It offers excellent wildlife viewing opportunities including elephants, lions, and leopards, alongside highlights such as the crystal-clear Mzima Springs and striking Shetani Lava Flow. Compared to its counterpart, Tsavo East, it is more lush, varied, and visually dramatic making it a truly captivating safari destination
Overnight: Severin Safari Camp

DAY 05: Tsavo West National Park to Tsavo East National Park

Early morning game drive and breakfast. Thereafter cross over to the other part of Tsavo i.e., the Tsavo East. It is vast and untamed, known for its open plains, red elephants, and easy wildlife viewing offering a classic, authentic safari experience. On arrival, check-in and lunch. Thereafter proceed for an afternoon game drive.

DAY 06: Full day in Tsavo East National Park

Full day in Tsavo East National Park with unlimited game drives at your convenience. Its flat, arid landscape makes wildlife easier to spot, with large herds of elephants, buffalo, and plains game often seen roaming freely.

DAY 07: Drop off in Watamu – Beach

Early morning game drive and breakfast. Thereafter, transferred to Watamu Beach, one of Kenya’s beautiful and laid-back coastal gems on Kenya’s north coast. The drive of under 5 hrs will take you across the back to the exit gate nearer to Watamu
Watamu is a known for its powdery white beaches, turquoise waters, and unspoiled natural beauty. Fringed by the protected Watamu Marine National Park, it offers exceptional snorkelling and diving among vibrant coral reefs teeming marine life. Beyond the ocean, Watamu blends Swahili charm with a relaxed, boutique feel—home to quiet beach lodges, dhow cruises through the mangrove-lined Mida Creek, and nearby ancient ruins like Gede Ruins. With its peaceful atmosphere and scenic beauty, it’s an ideal destination to unwind after a safari.
