DAY 01: Arrival in Nairobi
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. If you wish to exchange currency, we recommend doing so at the airport for convenience. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Nairobi. The rest of the day is at leisure to acclimatize prior to your safari.

DAY 02: Nairobi / Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel for a short safari briefing before setting off on a scenic drive to the semi-arid Samburu National Reserve. The journey takes approximately 5.5 hours, offering a glimpse of Kenya’s diverse landscapes along the way. Samburu is known for its unique wildlife, including rare species such as the long-necked gerenuk, reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, and Somali ostrich. You will also find large herds of elephants and buffalo, and with luck, sightings of lions, leopards, and even wild dogs. Arrive in time for lunch at your luxury camp, followed by an afternoon game drive through this striking and untamed wilderness.

DAY 03: Samburu National Reserve
Full day in Samburu National Reserve with unlimited game drives. Morning and afternoon game drives take you into the semi-desert thorn bush bordering the Ewaso Ngiro River. One of the reasons for coming to this area is to find and photograph wildlife, which is characteristic of the “Horn of Africa” and not found far south of the semi-arid Samburu region. Grevy’s Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Olive Baboon, Gunther’s Dik-dik and Reticulated Giraffe thrive in this
harsh but picturesque landscape. Fan-tailed Raven, Black-faced Sandgrouse, Blue-naped Mousebird and Vulturine Guinea fowl are just a few of the many unique birds found here. DAY 04: Samburu National Reserve / Ol Pejeta Conservancy
After a final morning game drive in Samburu and breakfast, you will leave for Ol Pejeta Conservancy—a drive of about 3 hours arriving for check-in and lunch at your luxury tented camp. Ol Pejeta is one of Kenya’s most popular conservancies, set against the scenic backdrop of Mount Kenya. It’s home to endangered black and white rhinos, as well as several rare northern species. Later in the afternoon, head out on a game drive where you may spot elephants, rhinos, lions, buffalo, oryx, silver-backed jackals, and more. Optional activities are available at an extra cost of $.80.00 per person per activity. These include lion tracking, guided bush and bird walks, a visit to the endangered species enclosure (home to the last northern white rhinos), night game drives, and a visit to the chimpanzee sanctuary.

DAY 05: Ol Pejeta Conservancy
Following breakfast, you visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary and Information Centre. This Sanctuary was established by the Jane Goodall Foundation as a place where orphaned chimpanzees can be rehabilitated in surrounding that are similar to their natural habitat. The Ol Pejeta Conservancy is the largest Black Rhino Sanctuary in East Africa. In addition, the Conservancy is home to a number of other endangered species including the locally threatened Jackson’s hartebeest and Grevy’s zebra. You will have a day filled with game drives taking you to different corners of the conservancy.

DAY 06: Ol Pejeta Conservancy / Lake Naivasha
Early morning game drive and breakfast. After breakfast, depart for Lake Naivasha, taking a scenic route via the picturesque Thompson Falls. The drive to this stunning lake in the heart of the Great Rift Valley takes approximately four hours, with arrival in time for a late lunch. Lake Naivasha is renowned for its diverse range of outdoor activities. Enjoy a boat ride on the lake, take a guided nature walk on Crescent Island where you can walk among freely roaming antelope, or explore the dramatic landscapes of Hell’s Gate National Park by bicycle.
